The Kitchen
A large collection of utensils from the Victorian Era and later can
be seen here.
Note the charming wooden spice chest with porcelain knobs hanging
on the wall near the stove.
Among the many mincers/sausage makers the
oldest dating
from 1870 has a wooden case, and was presented by Gerrit and Vera Swart.
The brass sponge cake form was made by F.Staal coppersmith in the
town from 1890's to 1920's and presented by Mrs. Doll Bruwer.
The rest of the kitchenware, including several candle moulds, much
crockery and the many tins in the shelves behind the loft staircase
will provide nostalgic reminders of Granny's kitchen.
